How to Find Affordable Health Insurance in the State of South Dakota
|
South Dakota children under 19 are eligible for health coverage under the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Income guidelines apply and are different for families who have private insurance and those who have no insurance.
The Prescription Assistance Program is available for low-income families whose insurance does not cover prescriptions. Low income would be defined as annual income not exceeding $24,000 for a couple; asset limitations also apply.
